The infamous Band Room now has full Tab, Sportsbet and Keno facilities and loads of big screens indoors and out for the sporting fanatics and there is still a great line up of live bands on Saturday nights playing old hits for the young at heart as well as Wisecracker Wednesdayz Comedy and Trivia still rules on Thursdays.

$200 -The North and South premium function roomson Saturday nights are $200. This includes security,AV equipment, jukebox style music, VIP bar accessand covered heated balcony space. These rooms hold 50-60 and can be extended into adjoining areas for larger numbers with additional fees.

Deposits -Saturday nightpremium function room enquiries are notconfirmed until a minimum of 50% has been paid as a holding deposit. Reservation fees will be refunded with 14 days notice in the event of a cancellation.

The Clock and Oyster Bistro is able to provide all of your catering needs from $12 per head. Buffets or cocktail food platters served to the function area can be tailored to your budget from a variety of choices. Go to the Functions Menu link to find our sample menus or lists to create your own.

Children are permitted into function areas under the direct supervision of a parent. (not a 16 year old with their 18 year old relative or friend) Additional security may be required to monitor that underage teenagers do not drink alcohol on the licensed premises. Minors are not permitted in to other areas of the hotel and if they are not adequately supervised will be asked to leave with their guardian. Any guest found supplying alcohol to minors will be referred to police.There is a general 9pm curfew for underage but with adequate supervision this is waived for functions.


Our in-house system using a pre arranged playlist, juke boxor fox music channels can be broadcast at your prefered volume free of charge. Facilities are not available for pre-recorded music on ipods unless you provide your own speakers. Live entertainers, karaoke, or DJs can be arranged at your own expense but will need to comply with hotel policies and be suitable for the space reserved. AV facilities such as TV screens, DVD, and microphone are available in function rooms.


Function areas can be decorated with balloons, flowers, photos, banners etc but we ask that no hooks, screws, tape or pins be used. Small tinsel pieces are NOT allowed. Candles must have the melting wax and flame fully enclosed in a holder. No graffiti, paint or ink is permitted. Access to the room will be 1 hour prior to the function. Earlier access will depend on any earlier bookings. The function areasmay remain open to the public until 1 hour prior to your booked time and cannot be locked soresponsibility is not taken for private property left unattended.


All guests must adhere to our RSA policies. Intoxicated, violent or quarrelsome patrons will be asked to leave or functions closed down.
Drinking games, skulling, yardglasses, and high alcohol content drinks are prohibited. To prevent intoxication containers such as open wine bottles, shots, or jugs may be restricted. Guests causing concern may be offered low or non alcoholic alternatives.


We will provide complimentary ice water. Soft drink and low alcohol beers are available for purchase. Self serve Tea and Coffee facilities can be arranged through the Clock and Oyster Bistro when catering is arranged.



A wide variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are available at pub prices. Beer $4-$7, Wine $6-8 Spirits $5-$10.

Drinks may be purchased by guests from the bar or a prepaid Bar Tab or token system may be set up for identified guests. Credit cards or cash security is required for bar tab set up.

Hosts may elect to limit choices available to their guests to meet budget requirements.

Over 4 hours we suggest you allow 4-6 drinks per guest. These are averages only which already take into account some may not drink while others will indulge!

Alcohol consumed must be purchased at the bar. Evidence of products brought into the function and consumed will result in closure of your function or additional charges.


Security guards at an additional cost and/or a security deposit may be required depending on the type of function, number and age of guests and the time and date that the function is held.
